We’d like to invite you to participate in the 41st Annual Lum & Abner Festival, June 1 & 2. In years past, the festival has drawn anywhere from 7,500 to 10,000 people. Arts & crafts have been a cornerstone of the event since its inception. The festival has continued to grow over the years. We hope you will be a part of that continued growth in 2018!
The Lum & Abner Festival is well organized and promoted through the use of newspaper, magazine, radio, social media, and website advertising, along with print media such as signs, flyers, posters, programs, etc. The Mena Advertising & Promotion Commission also uses their partnership with Arkansas Parks and Tourism, Arkansas Festivals & Events Association, the National Lum & Abner Society, Western Arkansas’ Mountain Frontier, and Arkansas Regional Coalition of the Ouachitas to get the word out. The festival will be advertised in the Arkansas Regional Display Advertising Network (ARDAN), and various in-state and out-of-state newspapers. In past years, our festival has been featured on the ABC’s Good Morning Arkansas and THV’s Morning Show.
Deadline to submit your application is March 31st, so get your form in early! Our event is well staffed and is available to you throughout the event. Your success as a vendor is very important to us and to our continued success as a festival! We will once again have our Big Tent available for the arts & crafts vendors or you can bring your own. There are only 22 spaces available inside the big tent and will be filled on a first come basis, so again we encourage you to send your application in early.
