A Scenic drive through Mena’s nearby mountain range

With a growing city comes great new attractions, and the Ouachita Axe and Ale House is nothing short of that. They offer wide stalls in an uncramped, great environment, and being paired with an ale house is a fantastic bonus. The hospitality at Ouachita Axe and Ale House really stands out—when I needed to use my computer, they were not only accommodating but even offered to treat me to lunch!

Just past one of the entrances to Mena’s new top-tier bike trail lies a stunning scenic drive. I’ve always been a sucker for winding roads with views, and this one delivers in spades. The southern route meanders through rolling hills, vibrant skylines, and misty mountains. Don’t forget to pack some snacks for the journey!

Just visited Grand View Vista near Mena and wow – what a view! The endless hills and valleys stretch out forever, making it perfect for photos or just taking in nature. It’s super easy to get to from Mena, and the best time to visit is right before sunset when everything glows golden. If you’re in Arkansas and love beautiful views, you’ve got to check this place out. It’s still kind of a hidden spot, but it won’t stay that way for long!
